Matcha Tracker is designed with your privacy as a foundation, not an afterthought. Here's the short version: we don't collect anything.
Data Collection
Matcha Tracker does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. We have no analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party SDKs, and no advertising frameworks.
Local Storage
All of your data — matcha entries, daily limits, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data never leaves your phone.
App Groups
Matcha Tracker uses an App Group (group.com.anastasia.matchatracker) to share data between the main app and its home screen widgets. This sharing happens entirely on your device. No data is sent to any server.
No Account Required
You don't need to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use Matcha Tracker. Open the app and start logging.
No Network Requests
Matcha Tracker makes zero network requests. The app works entirely offline.
Third-Party Services
We do not use any third-party services, analytics tools, or crash reporting frameworks.
Children's Privacy
Matcha Tracker does not knowingly collect information from children. Since we collect no data at all, this applies to users of all ages.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever update this policy, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
